而這首Mayday，是描述一段早已只剩空殼的愛情，從MV可以看到Cam飾演歷史上第一名獨自橫跨大西洋的女飛行員愛蜜莉亞·瑪麗·艾爾哈特(Amelia Mary Earhart)，在舉行自己的橫跨大西洋飛行，從受媒體質疑與丈夫的不諒解，最後在大西洋墜毀。
而Mayday正是駕駛員在航行(航海、航空)途中遇難時會對塔台所呼喊的求救訊號，需要連喊三次，在這裡，便是暗指劇中演員的婚姻早已到了盡頭，而她也無力再挽回，而駕駛飛機橫越大西洋也只是為了逃離這段感情，開頭的漫畫圖片也暗喻著女權時代的來臨。
